Came here Saturday night literally ten minutes before they close. The gentleman working at the front was welcoming and greeted us with a smile. I asked was it too late to dine in as I knew they were closing? He advised us that it would be no problem and we could still dine in. Bathrooms were clean and it wasn’t over packed as it was the end of the day Judy was our server and she was super friendly despite them being ready to close. She was patient with us, and let us take our time getting our order together. The food was super amazing! I’m no stranger to Papi’s but this was my first time at this location and it might’ve been better than the Atlanta one. I would definitely come back. For three meals, an appetizer and two drinks were less than $70!!! Thank you all for the amazing hospitality!!!!

I wont be the one to mess up the ratings but ill rate it a 4.6. Let me explain. Got the chicken & rice (arroz con pollo), w/grilled chicken on side, and tostones. I thought when it stated plantains itll be fried plantains tostones not sweet plantains maduros i forgot But besides the point i been to several other Papis and they have always substituted the maduros for tostones. Here she said they couldnt. The rice and beans had a real hefty amount of chicken. It was either half or a quarter cant remember but it was def alot of chicken which took away from the actual rice. Which alot of ppl wll enjoy more meat than rice but when im not eating that dry chicken than it wasnt pleasing. The chicken for me was very dry. It wasnt juicy at all nor tasty. Im happy i got the grilled chicken onthe side. That grilled chicken was oh sooo juicy and tasty. Yummmmm! Yes to the grilled chicken w/onions. Delicious! Now i know for next time to just order the grilled chicken w/rice. This review is just a reminder for me. The tostones were sooo flat and very crispy. It was too thin for my liking. It was almost like tostones chips but large. The rice was delicious. I Asked the waiter what was the sauces that came w/the tostones and She said its Papis sauce and its a secret. I tried asking & she said its a secret :/ Now its 2025 and many ppl incl myself have high allergies to certain foods. I just thought to myself ok even if it's a secret still ask me what im allergic to to make sure i dont die!!!! Or even say its cheese base, sourcream base, milk base, garlic base, whatever. Give me something. Im like i also want to know cause i like garlic sauce so if it has garlic no need to waste a garlic sauce. Idk i was very much thrown off with that. Overall she was super sweet and helpful. Besides that part. Ill def come back. Food overall was really good. Some dishes werent to my liking but thats just my preference. Not that they did something wrong wrong. (Ps tostones in pic look thicker, softer, soggier, and meatier than what it truly tasted like and looked it. It was super crunchy super crispy and very thin. And chicken rice vid inder that rice was all chicken which some may love but it was all very dry chicken. Which unfortunately threw it away but was lucky to have the juicy grilled ckn on side)

The food at Papi’s was so authentic, and the atmosphere was warm, lively, and full of great energy. My husband and I went for date night last Friday and loved everything we ordered. We had the vaca frita, crab cakes, and shrimp tostones supremos, all of which were incredible! Our server, Aricha (Ari), was excellent. She was attentive (without being overattentive), friendly, and personable. Although I’m much older than she is, she encouraged me, as a second-generation Afro-Cuban American woman, to go deeper with my Spanish/roots, which meant so much to me. I truly felt at home. We’ll definitely be back! ????????

This is my second time at this lovely restaurant and it has been as great as the first time. My server, Ms. Ari, has been my server twice and both time an absolute delight. She has been extremely attentive, knowledgeable, and so very welcoming. The restaurant is spotless and the music always at an appropriate volume (and always with great hits). The food has not been a miss not a once. It reminds me of delicious home cooking. This has easily become my number one restaurant, especially when I miss the flavor of home. I especially recommend the camarones al ajillo. Thank you to the staff for always making me feel welcomed and for the delicious food

Ari was amazing ! Had the crab cakes, arroz con pollo side dish and husband had the arroz con pollo plate. Everything was fresh and hot. Loved the crab cakes with the breading fried hard but not too hard where the meat on the inside was not moist. Fast service and cute spot for a dinner night, definitely will be back
